Vintage Globe at the Coffee Bar, Union Square, New York City, 2010

Nostalgia has a certain flavor. The Iconic Coffee Bar in Union Square featured atomic-era signage and dinnerware shards as lobby tile. This photo of it's lit beacon was taken toward the end of it's long life. Am I the only one who'd overpay for just one more java there?
